What is GST billing software?
GST billing software issues invoices that show the right tax for India’s Goods and Services Tax — CGST and SGST within a state, IGST across states — with the details the GST rules ask for, and turns your sales into the figures for your returns. Suiteloom does this on every bill, for B2B and B2C sales, and prepares your GSTR-1.

FAQ
GST billing: your questions
Something else? support@suiteloom.com
Is Suiteloom GST compliant?
Suiteloom issues invoices with the details the GST rules ask for — GSTINs, invoice number and date, HSN, taxable value and the tax by type — and works out CGST and SGST or IGST by the place of supply.
How does it decide between CGST/SGST and IGST?
From the place of supply. A sale within your state charges CGST and SGST; a B2B sale to a buyer in another state, read from their GSTIN, charges IGST.
Can I issue B2B invoices?
Yes. Add the buyer’s GSTIN to the bill; it is checked as you type and the buyer’s state is read from it.
Does Suiteloom file my GST returns?
Suiteloom prepares your GSTR-1 figures from your sales and lets you download them as JSON or Excel. You or your accountant then file them on the GST portal.
Can I add HSN codes to my items?
Yes. Each item carries its HSN code and GST rate, and both appear on the invoice.
I have outlets in two states. Will that work?
Yes. Each outlet bills under its state’s GSTIN, and returns are prepared per registration.
Does it handle e-invoicing?
Yes. Switch e-invoicing on when your turnover requires it and generate IRNs for B2B invoices from Suiteloom.
Does it cover purchases and input tax credit?
No. Suiteloom covers the sales side: invoices and your GSTR-1. Purchases are not recorded in it.
