What is inventory management software?
Inventory management software keeps count of what you have, so you know what to sell, what to reorder and where stock went. In Suiteloom it is part of billing: stock is kept for each outlet — and for each size, colour or model — and every bill, adjustment and correction is recorded.
What it does

FAQ
Inventory: your questions
Something else? support@suiteloom.com
Does stock go down automatically when I bill?
Yes. Every bill takes the items off the stock of the outlet it was billed at; returns put them back.
Can I keep stock for sizes, colours or models?
Yes. Each variant has its own stock and low-stock level.
Can I stop the POS selling what isn’t there?
Yes. For items you track, the POS won’t sell more than the outlet has.
Does Suiteloom manage purchases and suppliers?
No. Suiteloom keeps your stock levels; purchase orders and supplier accounts are not part of it. Add stock when it arrives.
Does it track batches and expiry dates?
Not yet. Stock is kept per item and per variant at each outlet.
Can I move stock between outlets?
Remove it from one outlet and add it at the other; both changes are recorded in the history.
Do restaurants need to track stock on dishes?
No. Dishes are made to order and need no stock. Track packaged items, such as bottled drinks, if you want to.
